NHFH&RI at Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) 2019 September 24-28, 2019; San Francisco, California, USA:

Professor Fazila-Tun-Nesa Malik, Chief Consultant Cardiologist, National Heart Foundation Hospital & Research Institute attended TCT 2019 as faculty. She delivered lecture on - ‘Does stent design make a difference in treating LM bifurcation lesions’ and participated in the debate supporting the motion, ‘I don’t need intravascular imaging to detect/treat most cases of coronary calcium!’. She was also moderator in two other sessions of coronary intervention & imaging. It may be mentioned that Fazila-Tun-Nesa Malik is a member of the scientific committee of TCT.

Four cases from our Institution were selected for presentation at the challenging case presentation corner. Dr. Tawfiq Shahriar Huq, Associate Professor & Senior Consultant Cardiologist and Mr. M Murshed Uddin, Chief Cathlab Technician participated in this session as faculty.
