An orientation program for physician and hospital administrative staffs regarding implementation of tobacco free hospital policy in Dhaka National Medical Institute Hospital and College held on 31 October 2015. United Forum Against Tobacco (UFAT) provided Anti tobacco (one digital and fifty hardboard) signage handed over to the director of the hospital to place in strategic points to increase awareness among the hospital staffs, patients and their attendants. Professor Dr. M.A. Bashar, Head, Department of Cardiology , DNMIC&H and Professor Dr. Aref Rahman, Principal, DNMC were present as special and chief guest respectively. Dr. Captain (Retd.) M.A. Salam, Director, DNMIH chaired the seminar and Dr. Md. Shaheen Reza Chowdhury, Associate Prof. Ophthalmology and Co-convener, Seminar Committee moderate the seminar. More than 200 senior physicians and administrative staffs were attended the meeting.
