World Cancer Day 2017 was observed in Bangladesh as well as in different places across the globe on 4th February 2017. United Forum Against Tobacco (UFAT) and Bangladesh Cancer Society jointly organized a rally to observe this day. The rally started at 08:00 AM from Bangladesh Cancer Society, Darus Salam Road and ended at National Heart Foundation Hospital & Research Institute, Darus Salam unite. Representatives from National Heart Foundation of Bangladesh participated in this rally.
The day was observed with three-year theme (2016-18): "We can, I can" to raise the awareness about fact that early detection and treatment could lead to cure.
